The Summer Music Camp returns in 2023 with expanded two-week camp
Last June, nearly 100 students age 5 to 17 joined The Venice Symphony for two inspiring weeks of summer music camp in Venice. Students worked with musicians and educators in programs created for them based on their interests, worked in ensembles and performed in concert for family and friends on the final day of camp.
We are excited to open registration for the 2023 Summer Music Camp which will expand to two full weeks of half-day camps, elementary in the morning and secondary in the afternoon. The elementary camp, running from 9:00am-12:00pm, is designed for elementary students in grades K-4 with a focus on music exploration. In the afternoon, the secondary students, currently in grades 5-11, will focus on their musical journey from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Working with top area music educators and Venice Symphony teaching artists, students will spend two weeks growing and developing through music. The camp will conclude with a culminating performance at the Venice Performing Arts Center during camp hours, showing off their hard work and dedication.
Your registration fee of $225 includes the full two weeks of musical instruction from Venice Symphony musicians and certified music educators. It also covers the cost of a camp t-shirt, snacks, end of session concert and more. Need based scholarship are available.
