COVID-19 UPDATE

March 14, 2020 by sharyn

In response to concern for the health and safety of our audience, musicians, staff and volunteers, there are no events scheduled at this time until the first concert of the 2020-21 season in November. The Venice Symphony has postponed the March 27-28 Linda Eder Concert, to Saturday, May 1, 2021 and Sunday, May 2, 2021. This concert is not part of the standard 2020-21 concert season so you won’t see it in the brochure.

We are accepting 2020-21 season ticket orders for packages of four to seven concerts and currently processing those orders. Please know that if a concert is canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, or seating with social distancing measures is unsatisfactory to you, The Venice Symphony will offer you the choice of retaining your seats for that concert’s rescheduled date (if it is rescheduled), credit to a future concert, refund of your tickets or the opportunity to donate your purchase back to The Symphony.

We are also acccepting group ticket orders for 10 or more individuals from one to seven concerts. Group requests are best done by phone. Please call Alison Posner-Solares at 941-207-8822. The above purchase guarantee applies to group sales as well, however we do reserve the option to shift group seating should social distancing affect our ability to seat your entire group together in the venue.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support during this difficult time. We will continue to update you via email, thevenicesymphony.org, and our Facebook page as decisions are made. We are thinking of you all and can’t wait to see you at The Symphony.
