To help overcome the challenges of our older Ludwig Timpani, David Kaiser of The Venice Concert Band generously arranged for Julie Boehler, our Associate Timpanist, to perform on their new Adams Timpani during Symphony concerts. Audiences got to hear these stunning instruments in action at our Viva Venice concert this past weekend — and what a difference they made!
